First full school day for the kids. You can hear a pin drop in my house at the moment. No ABC kids balring from the loungeroom, no “mummy i want…” every 5 min. The loungeroom floor is in exactly the same condition as it was when we left this morning. No dolly’s lined up, no lego spread out, not colouring books piled up covered in glitter and texta. . .
Peace. And. Quiet

Ohhhh I know this missing feeling, my youngest started school this year, the peace and quiet is nice, but I also miss having my children around during the day!
