As you know i have decided to continue on with the photo a day project i started in January, so here i am with the first weekly round up.

Last Monday my big boy started grade one, it was a much smoother transition compared to last year when he made the huge leap into primary school. He was happy to get back with his friends and as slipped right into school life again.

Charlee started 4 year old kinder last week as well. I was a little worried about how she would go because she really did not like kinder at all last year, but she has surprised me by only being a little upset when i dropped her off last Tuesday and Thursday, and not crying at all when i dropped her off today.

Here she is again on Wednesday back at ballet classes (she is a born dancer/performer). Apologies for the grainy image, the dance school has far from perfect lighting conditions for photography LOL.

On Thursday i let the kids cool off in the back yard with a bucket of water.

My husband has Fridays and Saturdays off so we often head down to the shops for lunch, here he is on Friday with Charlee picking up some last minuet groceries.

On Saturday Victoria sweltered through a devastating 46 degrees which fueled several small fires into larger bush fires. We spent most of the morning inside and most of the afternoon at the shops, and it wasn’t until later in the day when we were driving to Lukes parents house that we realized that the “small” bush fires had rapidly escalated to something much much worse. We could see the smoke billowing in the distance from Lukes parents house. It was a lot closer than we had originally thought. So far the death toll from the bush fires is over 100 with 800 homes lost. Totally devastating. It’s impossible not to think about the families who have been affected.
On Sunday i went to see a client and then we headed over to spend the afternoon with my parents. Here is Charlee just doing her thing and looking gorgeous.

Today was a bit of an upset day. Koby had a dentist appointment (again) and he didn’t cope well this time at all and was in quite a bit of pain. Charlee was at kinder while we were at the dentist, and after we picked her up they both headed off to their grandparents house for the afternoon which left me to do the grocery shopping in peace. Which means there wasn’t much left to photograph so i thought i’d take a shot of my lunch LOL.

Home made seafood stir fry.
Now i am trying to tie up some loose ends and get a few orders organized for some clients before i settle down to finish reading the final book in the Twilight series. I am SO in love with these books…it has only taken me a week to get through the 2d two and a day to get through most of the 4th….i can’t help myself. When i get stuck into a book i HAVE to read it as fast as i can…but i’m being good and at least attempting to get some work done first :p
