We interrupt normal programing for this brief announcement…

Photobucket

My hubby an I are finally happy to announce that we are expecting a new little Bremner bundle at the end of April next year. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant and thankfully past the yucky morning sickness period and we had a scan on Friday which showed a healthy, happy little jellybean wriggling around nicely.

Koby and Charlee are both over the moon and can not wait to meet their new baby brother or sister.

Now obviously this will mean that for a short period during next year i will be out of action. I’ll be taking maternity leave from the beginning of March (except for a much anticipated wedding that Kelly and I will be shooting) until the beginning of September. Then it will hopefully be back to business as usual from then on.

I know it’s a long time down the track but if you were considering booking a session for early next year, make sure you get yourself a spot as i will not be taking on as many sessions as normal (purely because i know i will struggle to get up and down off the ground and chase after toddlers by that stage LOL).

Anyway, that’s all i really had to say. Resume normal programing …..nnnnnow.  ;)

Family at Blackburn Lake | melbourne childrens portraits

Here are some shots from a gorgeous family i met up with on the weekend. Baby Ella and big sister Julia (who for some reason i kept calling Loise. . . no idea why, my brain for some reason just decided that Loise was her name and that’s how it was going to stay. Very embarrassing) had  a lovely time frolicking around with the daisies and hanging out with mum and dad. It was a glorious sunny day as well which made all the colours just jump out at you even more.

Here are a few quick favorites so far. The rest will be ready for you soon Rosalie and Tim :)

ps: i’ve decided that i would like to have Juilia’s gorgeous curly blond hair when i grow up.

sometimes…

…i like to take a break from editing work photos and spend sometime editing personal shots. I took these of Charlee way back in August and had only gotten around to editing a few, so i played around with s few more this afternoon. yes i have a list of other things i SHOULD be doing…but sometimes it’s nice to play around for pleasure instead of work ;)

I’m really looking forward to the sessions i have coming up over the next few weeks. The weather in Melbourne is finally becoming glorious again - a photographers dream - and i can’t wait to make the most of it. I’ll be back in a few days to show some photos from a family i photographed on the weekend, until then xx

These girls were fun…totally insane…but fun. My hat goes off to mum and dad for being able to raise FIVE smart, independent and feisty girls. Not an easy task but they have pulled it off wonderfully. After numerous postponements due to weather and life in general, we all finally caught up last weekend and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.

Here are a few sneak peeks, i hope it was finally worth it Jodi LOL
