Photobucket

There are still a few spots available for my backyard sessions special offer. Please visit this post for more information.

This is out pesty pooch Oscar (who will of course be locked up while the sessions are taking place), he was a lot more cooperative the other day than my children were, hense his portrait on here instead of theirs….

I’ll be back on Monday to show a few sneak peeks from recent sessions. Till then, have a lovely weekend.

Lest we forget

Lift the Veil

After much work over the last few months i am happy to announce that Lift the Veil is officially open.

Lift the Veil is a wedding photography business i have launched with my friend Kelly. We have been working on this for the past few months and it’s great to be able to finally open up officially. We are still working on a few small things in the background, and it will take a while for us to uild up our gallery’s a bit. But we are offering a series of free sessions to couples willing to help us out a bit. Go and check out the blog for the latest competition and feel free to add us to you blog readers so you don’t miss anything in the future. :)

Fun in the city | Melbourne kids portraits, Fitzroy

Well i don’t often get the chance to get my kids together in a location of my choice. Usually one is at school, or the other is cranky and uncooperative or time just gets away from me. I’ve een meaning to get some shots of them both in this very urban ally-way near my hubbys work in Smith Street Fitzroy, and finally decided today was as good a day as any.

We headed down and had lunch with Daddy and out friend, then we hit the shops (i scored a great bargian at the Pumpkin Patch outlet) and then we spent 20 min in this ally-way just mucking around.

Yes the giant lollypops are there as a major bribe tool - unfortunately even though my children appear to love the camera they don’t always cooperate as well as i would like them too. In fact i find them more difficult to photograph then client’s kids.

Backyard Mini Sessions | Melbourne baby photographer, Melbourne Childrens Portraits

mini sessions

I get so many comments from people saying what a wonderful back yard i have. And i couldn’t agree more. It is beyond huge, full of nooks and hiding places and also gets beautiful, magical light in the late afternoon. I have been pondering this idea for a while now and decided to throw it out into the open to see who would be interested.

Basically i am offering mini sessions in my own backyard. These sessions are for children or babies over the age of 5months only, so no large family groups please. They will be held in the afternoon from 3-5pm and i am able to offer 6 session times all up.

These sessions are designed to be cheap and cheerful and are a great way to just get a few updated snaps of the kids if you haven’t had portraits done for a while, without the fuss of needing to get the whole family organized (read: no need to get Dad organized and looking enthusiastic LOL).

The mini sessions will be $300 and that includes a $200 print credit that you can put towards your order. There is no minimum order either, so if you only want to spend the print credit then that’s fine.

Please contact me via lcbremner at bigpond dot com to make a booking.

For those who have no idea where Kilsyth is, here is a link to a google map of the area ;)

Kilsyth

It’s just a short trip down the Eastern FWY to Ringwood and you nip down to Kilsyth via Mt Dandenong rd.
