Anna & Michael | melbourne wedding photography, St Kilda, Beach wedding.

A little over a week ago i had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Anna and Michael. You may remember them from their engagement shoot i did a few months back (here). It started out as a glorious day but unfortunately the weather deteriorated quite a lot as the day went on so that by the time they arrived at the ceremony it was very cold, and windy..and by the time the ceremony was over it had started to rain. Which meant that we weren’t able to get as many shots of them together afterward as planned. But despite that we still got heaps of gorgeous photos of the day.

In the mean time, here’s some of my favorites (sorry, this will be a very photo-heavy post).

SUCH a gorgeous couple. I had a fantastic time and i can’t wait until i get the chance to shoot another wedding, so much fun.

Summer is over…but that means Autumn is here!

It’s quite sad that the warmer weather will soon be leaving but it is also a good thing because the end of Summer means the beginning of Autumn. My favourite time of year. The trees change colour, the days get cooler and the end of daylight savings means that you can capture glorious sunsets and pretty afternoon light at a reasonable hour. To make the most of this time of year before it gets too wet to go outside in winter i am releasing this sensational offer to all families who book a session in April.

If you book a session between 1st of April and 1st of May you will receive a complementary whopping 18″x26″ canvas print valued at $350!
(What!… is she serious? )

Get in quick to secure your date as session times are limited. If you have any questions please contact me via my website.

The fine print:
-Normal session fee of $150 applies.
-Image for canvas must be chosen from images taken at your session.
-Not exchangeable for cash or credit. Only ONE canvas will be given per family, per paid session.
-Normal minimum print order of $350 applies to all sessions booked.
-Order must be made within 2 weeks of your proofs being released.
-$150 session fee must be paid as deposit to secure your date.

The Harris Family | Melbourne Family portraits.

Here is another recent family session i did. Carolyn contacted me to come and photograph her family for her mothers birthday. By some perfect coincidence her brother Julian was opening his show in a gallery in Collingwood and everyone was going to be there so we decided that would be the perfect time. I just adore these graffiti streets that we found nearby, especally in contrast to the way everyone is dressed (all fancy ready for the gallery opening). Here are a few of my favorites and the rest will be up in a gallery in the next day or two. (probably closer to two LOL)

The John Family | Melbourne family portraits

Sorry Katrina! I said i’d have these up a few days ago and just didn’t get around to it.

I met up with this gorgeous family in the Fitzroy Gardens last week. We managed to get the session finished just as the heavens opened and a ton of rain was dumped on top of Melbourne for the first time in ages. So we were very lucky. Did i mention how utterly gorgeous this family is? And they were so lovely together too.

I’d forgotten how pretty the Fitzroy gardens were as well. I’ll definitly have to go back there more often.

Here are a few of my favorites and i will have the rest up in a gallery for you soon (and i mean it this time LOL).

Sweet Brothers | Melbourne kid’s portraits

I have ALWAYS wanted to do a photo session at Monsalvat in Eltham, ever since i took my own kids there and discovered all the gorgeous little nooks and locations within the grounds. I was SO excited when Jen said she wanted her family shots done here. The weather was a bit overcast which made it a bit of a challenge for me, especally inside the rather dark buildings,  but that didn’t bother Kieran and Jared at all.

We had a great morning exploring the buildings and grounds, here’s a few sneak peeks for Jen and Michael.
