The Burg Family | Melbourne kids portraits

These guys were such a fun family. They were another recipient of my free session competition last month, and after a few postponements due to horrible weather (who wants to go out to take photographs in 45 degree heat?? not me that’s for sure) we finally managed to get together.

We met at a gorgeous location in Olinda last weekend and the kids had a ball running around, and it was so nice to have a client that didn’t bat an eyelid at my crazy ideas. . . including dragging a bed curtain into the bush and spending 20 min trying to figure out a way to hang it onto a tree LOL

Anyway i know Georgie has been hanging out to see these so here are some of my favorites from the day. I’ll have the rest up in a gallery for you in the next day or so ;)

project 365 weekly round up

I’m heading away with some lovely girlfriends tomorrow for a weekend of fun, booze and pillow fights in our underwear (that statement is there for the benefit of my husband whom is under the illusion that we will in fact be doing those things - bless him). So i have come in here to show the photo a day shots from the last few days.

nothing too exciting going on this past week. Same old stuff. Different day.

Bushfire Appeal Update
I also wanted to say a big thank you to all the lovely clients who have donated their session fee to the Red Cross. So far See Be Art has donated $600 to the red cross through clients donating session fee’s for March bookings. I know i can’t physically do much to help those affected, but at least i can provide some financial support through my photography.

I will be back “in the office” on Monday so if you send me any emails over the weekend i won’t be able to reply until then. Have a good weekend everyone xx

The O’sullivan Family | Melbourne family portraits

These guys were one of the lucky winners of my free session promotion. They were nominated by another client of mine and it was a pleasure spending the morning with them last Sunday.  Such gorgeous kids and a beautiful home to boot.
The kids thought i was great, i had them jumping on the beds and climbing on the furniture, probably sparking a whole new line of misbehavior LOL … sorry guys.

Anyway, here are a few images from their session, i’ll have the rest up in a gallery for you soon Carol. :)

Victorian Bushfire Appeal

Inspired by my fellow photographer Kris Liegh in NSW,  i have decided to donate the session fees from all the sessions i have in March to the Red Cross Bushfire appeal.

If you were considering booking a session with me then I’d suggest taking advantage of this offer so you can also help contribute to the numerous families who have been effected by this disaster. In return you will receive some fantastic portraits of your family and a complimentary warm fuzzy feeling. I will drop the session fee down to $100 to make it even easier. I will also give everyone 15% off their order as a special thank you.

For those interested in booking a session with See Be Art in March, visit the Australian Red Cross website, donate your $100 session fee via the secure online donations form, send me an electronic copy of your receipt and we will organize a time and date for your session. I only have 6 sessions available in march so please donate and contact me asap.

Or if you are in Sydney please consider taking advantage of Kris’ offer to do the same. She will be compiling a list of other photographers around Australia who are also being generous enough to donate their time and income.
