Just giving you all the heads up

In January i will be adding a few more packages and tweaking my pricing a little (not much i promise, just a smidgen to account for rising costs associated with producing the prints) and i will also be increasing my minimum print purchase amount from $200 to $500.

If you have had a session with me in the last month and are yet to order then i would recommend placing your order BEFORE the 1st of January or you will be charged the new prices (note: this does not include families who have pre-purchased or already given a deposit on one of the set packages, which will be remaining the same) . I have a few clients that booked under the Christmas special that had a minimum order of $200, that min order will still apply, but if you order after January 1st you will be subject to the new print pricing.

So what i’m trying to say is that you’d be better off placing your order ASAP. If you are a little strapped for cash this time of year then i am happy to hold your order for a month until payment can be made. But if you have still not paid by the end of January then i will need to apply the new pricing to your order (just to keep things fair and less confusing for myself LOL).

I only have two dates remaining in January to take advantage of my New years special which was a session fee for up to 6 people for just $100 and no minimum print purchase. If you would like a session on either the 24th or 25th of January then please contact me ASAP.

If you have any questions just let me know. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.  I will be having a break from the 29th-4th, but It will be business as usual here from the 5th of January (except for a quick break with my family from the 18th -23rd.)

Party of four | Melbourne Family portraits

Ok, finally a few sneak peaks from the session i did with Sascha, Anna and their gorgeous girls. Sorry it’s taken so long to get these up. I will have your fully gallery uploaded and ready to show by Monday ladies.

We had a great morning down in St Kilda a few weeks back. Such a great location…beach, park & urban locations all within walking distance.

Christmas time is nearly here

Hello, I am planning on coming back and finishing what i wrote about last time about my plans for next year, but this has been a super hectic week. I still have photos from a few sessions to share before Christmas as well (in particular Sasha and Anna who i know are waiting patiently for their sneak peek LOL - i’m getting there ladies i promise).

But today i am just popping in to wish all of my clients a wonderful Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. My business has grown so much over the past 12 months and it has everything to do with the wonderful families that i have had the pleasure of photographing and spending time with. I look forward to hopefully seeing some of you again next year as well as meeting some more lovely people.

(Yeah yeah…enough brown nosing :p)

It was my daughter Charlee’s birthday on Saturday, she turned four and this swing was one of her presents. We do have one of those old-school swing sets in the backyard but the dog has chewed through most of the chairs and my spider/bug-phobic children refuse to go anywhere near them. So we thought one of these would be a good idea (i can see us having to talk to Santa about acquiring a second one though). We can take it down when they are not playing with it (so said dog doesn’t eat it) and it can go in the shade of the trees so when it’s super hot they can still go out and play.

Of course i couldn’t help myself yesterday and i had to make use of the photo opportunity. They don’t usually stay together in such a cooperative manner when my camera is out so i made the most of it.

(i love Kobys expression in this one, and the fact that Charlee is obviously trying to explain how to do it better LOL)

I literally took about 150 photos of them on this swing, and i’d happily show you them all if i didn’t have somewhere else to be right now LOL

Pretty miss L | Melbourne childrens portraits

This little sweetheart’s mother was lucky enough to win a free session and print credit in a raffle recently. I donated the gift voucher to help raise money for a sick little boy. Our first attempt at a session was postponed by myself because i was feeling a little under the weather. But we met up finally last weekend and  were lucky to have such a beautiful morning at the Botanical Gardens. Miss L has just begun to walk which provided us with a very familial challenge of trying to get her to sit long enough for me to get her attention. Poor mum was stuck walking around and around and around on the spot for most of the session LOL… too cute…

Anyway here are some of my favorites, but seriously i’d be hard pressed to get a bad shot of this kid…one word…stunning!

A day for naming | Melbourne family portraits

Sorry it’s been quiet in here lately. I’ve just been super busy with the xmas rush, trying to ge everyone’s orders organized along with doing my own Christmas shopping and organize Charlee’s birthday party for this coming weekend. This was why i vowed a few months ago to take December off but unfortunately it never seems to work out as relaxed and carefree as i would have hoped LOL. Instead i have had several last minuet sessions and lots of orders come in over the last week.

But i am starting to get on top of it all again. Now it’s just a matter of waiting and hoping for all the prints to get back to me in time to then get them onto the clients. If you are waiting on prints from me the hold tight. I will keep you updated and let you know as soon as they arrive to me. And i will then be express posting them all out, unfortunately at this stage it is out of my hands, all we can do is wait for my lovely printing company to do their best….

Anyway, i do have some photos to share, Mandy has been waiting patiently for these all week. I had the pleasure of photographing her children’s naming day last weekend. It was a beautiful day and despite a bit of a delay in proceedings it was a lovely service. Here are some sneak peeks for her, i’ll have the rest of them up in a gallery for you in a few days :)

I also need to come back and make a quick post about some changes that will be happening to Clair Bremner Photography in 2009. All prices will be remaining the same but i will be going about a few things in a different way and i have some new aids to help you choose your prints and collections more easily. But that will have to wait until tomorrow. :)
