Lucky Last | Brighton Family Portraits

Well these guys were my lucky last family session before i head off (or should that be waddle off?) on maternity leave. I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely relaxed family if i wanted to. Despite the rather dark and dreary day we still managed to have a great morning. We started at their home and then headed down to the beach where we were promptly blown half way to tassie with the wind, but we battled through LOL

Here are just a few of my favourites, I still have lots of work to do before i can put my feet up too much (lots of ordering, and packing and sending) but at least i can do that from the comfort of my own loungeroom. I guess i’ll have to start filling this blog up with ore shots of my own kids for a while ;)

(Karen and Tony, thanks again for a great morning and letting me spend time with you all. The rest of your gallery will be ready soon :) )

Now with twice the fun | Melbourne Child portraits

I had the pleasure of originally photographing this family about 3 years ago when their little princess (Grace) was just one. I was very happy to be contacted by them again a few weeks back to say that they had a new little princess (Mia) join the family about a year ago, and they wanted me to come back.

It’s always fun to see how much kids have grown between sessions. Miss Grace is now a big Kinder girl (and has the most devine naturally wavy hair on a 4 year old i have seen in a long time - i would seriously commit a major crime for that kind of natural body and wave). And Mia was such an adorable little pixi, so cheeky and willing to be in front of the camera at ALL times.

Here’s just a few favourites from the session. The rest will be ready soo :)

Beachy goodness | Brighton Family Portraits

Here is another quick sneak peek of a family i met and photographed last weekend. We had a beautiful morning on Brighton Beach before it got too hot and crowded. Sorry this is short and sweet but i’m heading out the door and wanted to get this up for Ellie ( who has been waiting patiently) before i left  ;)

Normally I’d have something more interesting to say but unfortunately my usually rather eloquent brain has decided the third trimester is just too hard, and has given up on me entirely.

    m&m | Kew family portraits

These two were a ball to photograph. Such a fun age and so full of energy. We had a great afternoon running around, jumping on beds, running under the sprinkler, riding bikes. These little personalities are what make my job so much fun, and so unique every single time.

Here’s just a few of many many favourites from the afternoon.

The M family | Hawthorn Family Photographer

On the weekend i had the pleasure of spending some time with Gail and her family again. I photographed them about 18 months ago when Flynn was just an itty bitty baby. He is now a very active 18 month old, and along with his equally active older brother and sister it was generally a very hectic morning. But i love it. To me, these guys are the perfect example of a normal family. Noise. Mess. Chaos. Hugs. Kisses. Laughs. Tears. Food. Food. And more food (LOL sounds a lot like my own household actually).

Here are just a few shots from the session, the rest will be ready for you soon Gail. ;)
